We're stoked to introduce our first coffee from Veracruz, MX with notes of salted caramel, fig, and brown butter.

Naolinco is a highland district in Veracruz, Mexico, sitting between 1,200 and 1,600 meters above sea level. Small towns of just 30–50 residents dot the region, connected by winding roads that become tricky in heavy rain. Farms here are small—1 to 2 hectares each—and coffee has long been central to local life, alongside corn and livestock.

Known as one of Veracruz’s most beautiful districts, Naolinco is also famous across Mexico for its leatherwork. On the farms, producers intercrop coffee with "ice cream bean" trees (the coolest tree name ever) for shade. Coffee is always harvested in cherry and transported about four hours to Coatepec, where it’s washed with crisp spring water, fermented for 48 hours in concrete tanks, and dried mechanically for 60 hours.

We can't wait for you to try the result of all of this tender-loving care and hard work!
