Bolivia Finca Rosita Anaerobic Natural
For the first time ever, we are offering two different versions of the same coffee. Finca Rosita has produced two versions of this coffee using two different processing methods: washed and anaerobic natural. We are stoked to have gotten our hands on both, as it's an incredible opportunity to fully taste the effects that a chosen processing method has on a coffee.
This anaerobic method produces mind boggling notes of blackberry pie, sweet cream, and watermelon candy. The anaerobic method involves placing the coffee cherries in a tank or container and sealing it so that no oxygen can get inside. After fermentation, the cherries and pulp are removed and the seeds are dried in the sun. Anaerobic methods often intensify the sweetness and complexity found in naturally processed coffees, while also creating a more controlled environment that leads to more flavor clarity.
