About the Producer:
The Mapache Estate is a fifth-generation family coffee producer nestled in El Salvador's Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range. Today, Jan-Carlo and Sofia Handtke oversee six farms, which they tend to with extreme attention to detail. They also implement sustainable farming practices by preserving native shade canopies, recycling water at their eco-friendly mill, and returning coffee pulp to the soil as nutrient-rich compost
