Coffee is the main source of income here, grown on small farms ranging from 0.1 to 2 hectares.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe local washing station was established in 2022 and works with 823 farmers. Producers bring their coffee cherries to nearby collection centers by motorcycle, horse, or donkey, where they’re then transported to the washing station for processing.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAt the station, coffee is carefully washed, pulped, fermented, and dried. Lots are kept separate and tracked throughout the process to maintain quality and traceability.
