We love coffees from Peru for their approachability and sweetness! This coffee from producer Felimon Campos Huaman is no exception. Rich with notes of dark chocolate and fig, with a pear-like acidity, this is a cup that you'll want again and again.

 

About the Producer

In the mountain town of Loma de la Esperanza, producer Felimon Campos Huaman tends his 1.5-hectare farm, Los Laureles—named for the bay laurel plants that grow throughout the property. A second-generation coffee farmer and father of four, Felimon grows multiple coffee varietals alongside cacao, bananas, and vegetables, cultivating a diversified and self-sustaining farm.

Harvested with the help of his family, the coffee is fermented for 24 hours and dried for 15–20 days on raised beds, resulting in a thoughtful expression of this high-elevation corner of Peru’s Piura region.
